In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in New York; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–3 am. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I was so pleased they had 干煸肥肠 Dry Fried Pork Intestines. It was perfectly fried, still had chew, not too greasy. SO GOOD! I will say it was pretty uncomfortably warm whille dining on a summer day, ig the AC was out. Server was SUPER friendly and when i showed a picture of the dish, directed me to what the order was. The dish was so good.... would absoluteky go back for that alone. The rice was perfectly cooked and the tea hot and delish! I was pleasantly surpeised at the generous amount of pepoercorns- such a florah, flashy bite. I think i'd ask for extra spicy next time. They had restrooms. Will def return!

Stopped by for dinner with my family and honestly enjoyed it. The Mapo Tofu had a nice balance of flavor, the cucumber appetizer was refreshing, and the overall quality exceeded my expectations. Service was polite and efficient even during a busy period, and the prices felt fair for the location. It's refreshing to find a local spot that serves tasty food in a comfortable atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again.

Food was delicious and had great umami. The service was really friendly also We had two dishes and they both came out really quickly. Definitely recommend for late night or a quick bite. If you like spicy, be sure to ask for extra.

A must-visit for authentic Szechuan soul food in Chinatown! The 'Boiled Fish in Chili Oil' (水煮鱼) was incredibly tender and soaked in a rich, numbing broth that hits all the right spots. And the 'Laziji' (辣子鸡) – crispy, fragrant, and buried in a mountain of chilies just the way it should be. If you're looking for bold, uncompromising flavors in NYC, Wu 30 is the real deal.

Mapo tofu tasted good but it was not mala at all, was not what I wanted. Service is fine but they basically hide tip into your bill which is ???. Also the prices here are ridiculous for Chinese. Don't recommend
